Decay /// Chapter 1 - My Journal (note: this is NOT canon)

If you’re reading this journal, you’ve come across one of the last- probably the last- survivors of this stupid plague.

A few years ago, a friend asked me how i’d describe this world.
I said, “optimistic.” I was dumb back then. Now I say, “hopeless.”

I don’t really know what happened. All I know is that something was found under the ice- and that something started biting people and putting very not nice hormones in their bodies. Apparently, those hormones break into your cells and slowly but surely flip your DNA around until your skin starts to fall apart and your brain starts to rot- turning you into a big, mean, scary husk of yourself.

Luckily for us, this system of planets contains the universe’s biggest smartasses who thought they had everything under control, and interplanetary travel was not shut down until it was too late. All the nearby planets, all the great cities and governments- all gone. The Citadel has fallen. The Inkverse Republic has fallen. All technology and robots have shut down. I’m pretty sure even the Realm of Creation’s abandoned too. Other universes, like the Stickverse and crap like that, have completely shut off all contact with us. We’re a lost cause.

So now it’s just me. I’m no one special. I’m just some random person who for some damn reason, knows how to survive an apocalypse. Dear God, you’d think some of the universe’s best soldiers and wizards would know how to defend themselves…

I’m writing these crazed, caffeine-driven scribblings in this old fighter jet from around 3010. I turned it into my little hut near the mountains, has a little barbed wire fence around it and everything. I’ve even managed to find this old motorbike that still works, haha. If you’re another human reading this and i’m somehow still alive, please, for the love of God, come find me.

the fourth paragraph states that all robots and technology has shut down due to the lack of people running the power industry

Wait but self sustaining androids like Liam, Data, and etc should still function

let’s just say they got killed

...but killmote is a hivemind right? and besides. if killmote is the antiverse of remote, then she would be fine without batteries...wait, this is making no sense

i do not plan to put everybody’s ocs in here

maybe some other people’s ocs will appear as zombies, but the only survivors will be my ocs

wait... can killmote even be a zombie in the first place? i like to think that killmote would just be chillin in the antiverse, unaware that in the regular one, theres just the infection happening
