Oakland is a wonderful town, isn't it? But to take this story as a reason to aim barbs at the Black population seems wrong and looks bigoted. What struck me most about this story is the backstory of how the local homeless encampment had hacked the power of the stoplight -- why not take it as a proof of the Amercian Anarcho-Capitalist can-do spirit?
