If you do make it into the marines I will respect you massively; I entered enrollment in Marine Practice (Which means it is what Marines go through as Cadets, but with a course for 14 year old's. Since my logic was keep going to matter what; I almost made it though before my Celiac Disease kicked my ass.
I am going to tell you; If you like the way you are right now. Don't go into the Marines. The Marine Training Program is hardly to make you ready for combat.
It is more to break you; to remove your old habits, and insert Marine habits into your body. These habits never leave you. For example, whenever I wake up in the morning to an alarm; I am ready to stand up and salute quickly. As the Drill Sergeant will be waiting for you; if you don't stand up in time you will get extra workouts. If you don't make your bed; it will be torn apart. If you break a rule during an exercise; you will make it into the circus. If you swim in the wrong form; you will become a "Sugar Cookie" which means you will be forced to roll in sand after swimming so that you will have itchy sand in your clothes as you do the other exercises.
If you like the way you are right now; don't go into the Marines.
