Some are. But the way I see it, it's just like the Christians. There's cool gay Christians and there's the Christians who would kill their kid/send them to corrective camps for being gay. Or like the Christians in Russia. It's the homophobia that's bad, not the religion.

Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are all Islamic religions. They worship the same God and Buddhism actually stems from it as well. Buddhism is compatible with almost all religions, but is most commonly paired with Shintoism, Islam, and Christianity.
