if you want to avoid backlash, don't post cringe, or if you do, post it where others can choose whether they want to see it. they took the coward's way out.

Agreed. As for the traitor part of why I chose this meme, NO ONE ON THE INTERNET thinks NSFW and SFW go hand in hand other than NSFW artists.

it reminds me of this one user that used to be on the fnaf/Pokemon streams that would post constant cringe. nothing outright wrong, but it was weird and sexually coded, and they received a lot of backlash on every meme they posted that was like that. they eventually left those streams for a month or so, but when they came back, the memes were "somewhat" normal. still a little odd, but not NEARLY as bad as before.

UGH, I have a classmate like that, except he's never gonna show any semblance of normal ever again. Every word he speaks is utterly cringy Gen Alpha slang or disrespectful/disruptive comments, or just obnoxious noises, all to draw attention to himself. Everyone hates him. His own sister continuously tells him that no one likes him, but he doesn't stop. He's never been written up, either. He's never had a detention, despite being disruptive, rude, obnoxious, dishonest, and downright disrespectful, on top of breaking multiple school rules such as being on his phone in class, skipping class, being consistently unprepared for class, dress code infractions, etc.

I myself am guilty of the phone thing, and the other infractions aren't great, but from what I hear, he's either a genuine jackass who doesn't care, or just somebody with undiagnosed autism/adhd and WAY too much unrestricted access to youtube.

Probably a mixture of both. I also think it might be because he's narcissistic, egotistical, and "better than thou," thus he believes he can behave however he wants, even with/to teachers and other authority figures, even his parents.

I have a teacher at my school who teaches art/ game dev. he was a marine for 5 years and a SWAT police officer for 10. probably the coolest teacher in the building. if anybody could straighten this kid out, it'd be him.

Wrong. My history teacher was in the Air Force. My former math teacher is currently in the Army National Guard. My dad was in the actual Army. My uncle on my dad's side is currently in the Army. My grandpa on my dad's side was in the Navy. All of them combined wouldn't be enough to straighten out Nathaniel.

air force isn't saying much, national guard isn't necessarily the army, nothing bad about the navy, as both of my parents were in it, but they can't hold a candle to the marines.

*inhale*

My dad is the strictest person on Earth
I think my uncle is in a whole different league
My history teacher once shook hands with George W. Bush, and chewed out another classmate drill sergeant style for asking to use the restroom just as we were "gettin' jiggy with it" (Please don't ask)
My grandpa is probably stricter than my dad, history teacher, and uncle combined
And my math teacher once chewed Nathaniel out in person (it was glorious, still didn't work)

And I said all those people combined.

Still, your point does stand.
