Yeah, and he went on to blame the truck driver claiming he was drunk. WHICH HE WAS NOT. Kept that crap up for years and really ran with it when they started MADD. Poor guy had to change his name, and move to another town. Even one attempt @ suicide. He was a Pariah. FINALLY during one of Empty Helmets 1% failed Presidential runs, (after the truck drivers natural death) the family sued the campaign and WON, and the prick finally closed his pie hole about it.
Thanks for posting. Such a heart warming story about a really great man. Gave me the opportunity to help bring that fact to light.
