Dani better known as Adore Delano is an American mtf Transgender Drag Queen, singer, and tv personality. She was a contestant on the 6th and 7th seasons of American Idol making it to the semi finals in the 7th season. She competed in the sixth season of RuPaul’s drag race making it to the final 3. She then competed in the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars making it to 9th place before leaving the competition. And in 2014, she won the award for Drag Queen of the Year.
To compete in American Idol, she had detransitioned and for years she attempted to appease her feelings about her gender identity by living as a woman through her drag persona Adore Delano, but in her 2023 transgender "coming out" video, Dani stated that she "could not do it anymore."
