Again, this took 4 hours to panel-line. I may not regret it in the slightest but that doesn't mean it wasn't repetitive (*on ☠️)

Gundam really just reminds me of bionicles if they were VERY difficult to build

They're pretty easy to me but I think that's just because I've built quite a few. But even my first one wasn't that hard

Well kudos to you because that looks so damn difficult to build

Part of the reason it looks more difficult is because I panel-lined it, which revealed a lot of the details that are kinda lost in the white.

Here it is without panel-lining

What are the steps of building a average Gundam? Do you just snap in every piece or armor and limb on a torso?

Well... It's a bit more complicated than that.

Basically all of the pieces come on these little frames usually referred to as "runners" and you have to carefully cut them out. I recommend some cutters that kinda look like this, they make the process WAY easier

Anyway, the instructions will tell you what pieces to cut out for each step. For example if it says B13 then you go to the runner labeled B and find part 13

The nice thing about the calibarn is that it tells you which runners you need at the start of each step
