Like, during the meeting in Episode 1, Lute says something to the effect of "My only mistake was leaving that traitorous bitch of yours alive" and then Charlie does the Star-Lord 'what' and then Lute turns to Adam, says "I think we're done here, sir" and then Adam is like "Cool. Oh, btw, we're moving up the Extermination, see you in six months, bitch" and leaves

And then Charlie's just sitting there processing that for like five minutes and then her phone rings and when she sees it's Vaggie she just looks at it while it goes to voicemail and then she starts walking home depressed and when Vaggie sees her she's like "Oh, that bad huh" and Charlie just glances at her before silently walking up to their room and Vaggie and Angel share a look of 'somethin's up' and Vaggie goes upstairs to check on her and then they have the 'why didn't you tell me' talk and Charlie's trying to keep her voice neutral so that the rest of the crew doesn't hear but Alastor is listening from the shadows
