I have been talking youth out of both joining any branch of the military and out of college and into trade schools, job training programs and the like for a few years now. The idea is to get an education while avoiding indoctrination centers. Most of the skilled trades are hired before graduation and earn credits and money while learning, start work from the same company at graduation with a sizeable raise. Compared to massive college debt and limited jobs, college is not such a big deal anymore.

I agree. Outside of STEM subjects and business/finance the modern college degree is simply a meaningless white collar job requirement. I exempt those two simply because entire systems are designed around them. There's no entry into those fields overwise. With A.I.s able to research and present entire papers for lazy or ill-educated students now, the average college diploma is even more so an ongoing joke.

Good point there are still a few subjects that require college, physics, medicine, etc, anyone dumb enough to major in sociology or other socialist subjects deserve their fate.
