My mom is ok with me being bisexual but is not ok with my gender identity, me when I wear men’s clothing, or polyamory. Luckily, I don't have to deal with it that often… but, if there's some get together with the family, I always get told not to wear men’s clothing (often accompanied by telling me that I’m a girl) and that I should tone it (my clothing and makeup) down.
Ironically, she's a massive Johnny Depp fan and Johnny Depp was in a biopic movie about the low budget movie director/producer/writer/actor and crossdresser Ed Wood. The first time I watched that movie was with my mom and she didn't say anything about Johnny as Ed in the scenes where he was crossdressing. (I guess maybe he gets a pass because he's Johnny Depp. Idk.) Lol… But anyway watching that movie made me interested in the real Ed Wood and he became my biggest hero & inspiration.
Some things I think might get asked…
Afab= assigned female at birth.
Demifluid = a multigender version of genderfluid where one of the genders stays the same (that's nonbinary for me) and the other one changes.
How are you a crossdresser?: The majority of cross-dressers who post about it online seem to be men who cross-dress in feminine clothes, but women and people of all genders can be cross-dressers too. A genderfluid/demifluid person can still crossdress by dressing up as a gender they do not identify with currently.
