DAYDREAM RECITE TIME SINK OFF.
So what the site did in my daydream was show something like this, except animated directly on load. The figure on the left would be totally breaking it down Gangnam Style /j coming in from the left, and the face on the right would appear like 1 second after the page loads. And then the site would silently download a lot of dumb shit with icons taken straight from DeviantArt pronne and immediately execute them somehow????,,. Along with the site itself, ear-decimating screams would play from both sides.
After closing out of the site quickly, somehow the face on the right was part of the site's silly thing of turning other random shit into faces like it. Everytime a face would appear somewhere, the same ear-decimating screams would play. So I just closed out of the whole browser. ez win.
But what happens next? Suddenly my desktop background was changed, and all the icons are cramped in the top left. The Start Menu's fuсked with, the font's been changed, and with MANY MORE things than there should be in the Start Menu, not to mention the shutdown menu was also affected, with like 7 more options than normal. Also I think the text "welcome to my (-:" appeared near the bottom of the desktop, I don't know xdr I'm just typing this from memory.
I tried restarting my laptop, and somehow, it didn't overwrite my MBR. Same stuff was there though. I try opening Task Manager, wasn't disabled. lul. So I immediately ended all processes and uninstalled everything that may have contributed to this whole facade. Thankfully Control Panel wasn't disabled. Preparing to make a silly video about what the hell this was, I opened up Notepad and jotted down the shit to do to get rid of it.
First, end all processes in Task Manager. Then, uninstall everything related to the virus with Control Panel, not minding the icons. And then,
That was where I woke up out of the daydream. I don't remember anything else other than what the link looked like and the new desktop background.
