Short story | This isn't Filler. This is important.

The day was filled with happiness and peace. James and Christine were cleaning the house while Nicolas played outside.
He's now two years old… and he can already run, jump, and do lots of things.
He even said his first word!
Which was pretty unexpected: “toi”, naturally he meant toy.

Traveler got a letter saying the following:
“Dear Mr. Podróżny,

I am an old friend of your grandparents and I'd like to inform you about a family matter.
There is an oracle tied to your family's bloodline and it wishes for your presence.
You can find him deep in a cave west of the ancient region of Attica.
*”Why now?” James thinks*

I am not allowed to tell you more.
Farewell,
Adonis.”

Christine: What does it say?

James: That some “family oracle” wants to meet me…

Christine: *she smiles at him* You can go, I'll finish here!

James tries to say no but he cannot resist her wife's smile.
She quickly gives him something to eat and James disappears.
He appears Athens.

James: Great, how will I find a cave here?

He looks around to the west, and eventually finds a small cave opening.
James: This is the last cave… I hope it's this one.

He goes in and already the air seems mystical…
Suddenly a shadowy projectile is launched at him.
He dodges easily but is met with more of these shadows.

He sees something or someone move in the shadows and once another projectile reaches him, he grabs it and throws it back at the shadow.

The shadow grabs the projectile.
???: *the voice seems the one of a male, but at the same time sounds quite feminine*mmmm… impressive..
for a demigod…~

James: *confused* Who are you? *He says as he gets closer to the figure*

???: This place… is kind of tight…~
Maybe we might want to move lower in the cavern… where it's bigger…~

*The shadow walks down the tight cave space*

James thinks “Who is this guy…?”

???: All questions will be answered… even that one…~ *the voice echoes from the cave*

James walks down the cave and follows the shadow.
They reach a big cavern.
James: So… wh-

???: Who am i?~ Oh please … you should have figured it out by now…~ oh well … you really seem to have no idea…

*The figure starts to become less shadowy, and then a smoke comes off of it. The figure is a human… that is hard to tell if it's a man or a woman*

???: I am your Oracle…~

James gets closer to the Oracle.
James: Y-

Oracle: No. I will not, cant, and don't want to tell you my name. Just call me Oracle~

So… your questions?

James: Why did you want to meet me?

Oracle: *they laugh* Isn't it obvious? I thought it was finally time to meet the bloodline… now that it was starting again…

James: H-

Oracle: How I came to be? And why am I tied to your bloodline? Oh, and now how do I know what you're going to ask?
*Laughs a bit while putting their hand on their cheek*
I was born like any other human, don't be silly. Your grandparents gave me my powers, your grandfather was quite the… strong guy…~

And last, I am an Oracle, I know everything.

James: Oh, curious. … *He thinks about something about the Oracle*

Oracle: *their face turns from smiling and surprisingly seductive to annoyed* You're the second to ask that question in your bloodline… how do I look male and female at the same time?

*They sit on a rock* *James walks to her and is curious*

Oracle: I am the result of, in poor words, a fusion between two previous oracles… a male one and a female one…

That's why I look male but at the same time female… why my body is so fit, why my face is so pretty~, why my voice seems strong but is overlaid by my feminine way of talking…~

James seems to be thinking.

Oracle: Urgh *they seem mad* Such a disgusting mind. That's your human part alright.

I don't have any gender or sexuality. Physically I am neither male or female, and even if I present some masculine or feminine traits, it is balanced with an opposite trait.
Mentally I am a mix of the two …

Oracle: Ohh, how strong am I?~ *they put their hand on their cheek* oh just a little strong…~ stronger than your father and you~

James: Really?

Oracle: I never lie *winks*
And I think you ran out of questions~ well… to the next time~

Oracle: Oh and yes… I have horny side~ but that's particularly feminine for obvious reasons~

*The Oracle disappears in a cloud of smoke and shadows*

James: What the…. Hell… did i just…. Witness…?
