Typically, "person of color" is seen as a more politically correct term (which can replace terms like African American which isnt as inclusive since it only covers a small specific group of people and isn't always applicable) than if I would call you a brown person *shrugs* but if brown person is your preferred term, I'll use it. No disrespect was intended.
