That being said, the movie version is better. | The Springlock failure in the FNaF movie was more accurate to what would happen in real life. When you get stabbed, your body goes into shock and that explains why William didn't scream after getting stabbed by one of the springlocks. If you're wondering why the springlock failure was more graphic in The Silver Eyes, it seems like Scott's veiw on what a Springlock Failure would be like thanks to the the second story in Tales of the Pizzaplex #3: Somniphobia in the story, Pressure, which showed a guy getting springlocked in a way more similar to the movie. | image tagged in lisa simpson's presentation, fnaf | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

The Silver eyes graphic novel was very dramatic about the springlock failure despise having to cut back on a lot of the other bloody scenes lol

The only qualm I have about the scene in the film(which was still a great scene) was the the springlocks didn't seem to function like they did in the games

I haven’t read silver eyes, but I really liked the movie, the spring lock scene was pretty cool

And I think the cloth underneath the outer shell of the suit would've absorbed the blood, because in the close-up of the springlocks stabbing him, we see cloth absorbing the blood, that also explains why blood isn't spraying everywhere like in the novel and minigame
