The only thing that beet root is useful for is beet root stew, nothing else, So WHY ADD IT IN THE GAME

Beetroots are also used for trading :)

As a wastelander, i use them for red dye as flowers are hard to come by.

Gold pickaxes are useful in speedruns when you want to go through a wall of netherack quickly

Poisonous potatoes give more hunger than regular potatoes.

You need the carrot fishing hook (I think that is the correct name) and have a pig and go off a mountain to get a achievement lol
