*he wouldn’t take his hand away from his mouth but put his free one on your hand*

*she seemed shocked that he did* "w-what are you doing..?"

*he moves his hand away, showing his jaw is already swelling, and he had bit his tongue really hard. It hurts to much to talk so he shakes his head*

"a-are you sure? do you want to go to the hospital..?"

*his voice is almost barely audible*
Noah: ….He’ll just hit me again….

*she glances down the hall for a second*

*he studied your face, he was still shaking*

*she looked terrified*
*whispers* Im still taking you there I can't bear to look at you like this!

*more panic spread across his face as he shook his head again*

*she grabbed him and tried to pull him out the door*

*he stopped resisting and followed*

*she drove him to the E.R*

*He sat in silence, occasionally looking over at you*

"I-i don't know what to do.... what would James do..... no! no.. not that..."

*He used his free hand and gave your hand a little squeeze*

*she looked at you*
"I dont know what to do...."

Noah: ....I dunno....My mom never believes me....

*they make it to the hospital*
"well we're here..."

*He glanced at you then gets out*

*they go inside and she tells the doctor what happened*

“Dude, what the hell happened”

Noah: *quietly* dad... punched me.

*gasp* “O-oh god… c-can you move your hand from your mouth?”

*he nods and moves his hand away, showing his jaw is already swelling, and he had bit his tongue really hard. *

*He started to gag* “I-I… dude!”

“Don’t worry, I’ll find a way to keep you two far from eachother.”

*He nodded and looked back down the hall*

“I’ll make sure that dipshit won’t hurt you”

Noah: …Thanks….

“Now like… stay on his good side… but if he’s drunk, HIDE. Barricade your bedroom, get as many snacks as you can, I don’t care! Just. Hide from him.”

???: *obviously drunk* Oi!

“Go! Hide! I’ll distract him!

*He stared for a second then turned and ran off*
???: who the hell are you...?

“I’m Lukas… you must be that guys father right?”

???: Yeah I'm that little brats father, why you asking?

“You know, for confirmation. Also he has a name, his name is Noah. Don’t call him a brat.”

???: Who are you to tell me how to parent my kid?

“You’re right, who AM I to tell you how to parent your kid? It’s funny isn’t it. I’m a kid myself and even I know how to parent, though I don’t have kids myself.”

???: YOU know how to parent?

“Well actually, no. But I know not to beat kids like SOMEONE who’s in this room.”

???: what’s that supposed to mean?

“There’s no hope for the pathetic excuse of parents like you.”

???: EXCUSE ME!?!

“You heard me! Now if you’ll excuse me, child protective services are having a field day with you”

*he shakes his head*

*his dad marched over and backhanded him*
???: that’ll teach ya.

*Lukas got pissed immediately and punched the dude in the gut pretty hard* “That’s the last f**king time you lay your hands on my friend. Come on Noah, follow me!”

???: I need to beat him, or he wont listen!

“Pal, I’m sure there are better ways to get your child to listen than to break their jawline.”

???: I didn't hit him that hard.

“Have you seen the kids jaw?! Alright… dude, even then you still shouldn’t hit your kids, hard or not. You’re literally scaring the hell out of him.”

???: well he can deal with it.

“And then you can deal with being alone when he grows up. Plus, you don’t want your son to grow up a bad man. Tell me, how do you feel about hurt babies?”

???: it makes me upset.

“Now when you hit your kid… it basically teaches him that it’s okay to beat up his babies… and maybe even his wife when he’s older… and that’s gonna lead him to jail, and then he’s gonna be a very very wanted criminal with a huge criminal record.”

???: well he ain’t my problem anymore when he gets older.

“Tch, no hope for you is there.”

*his dad stumbled back and Noah was still in a sort of daze, but he followed*

“RUN TO THE POLICE DUDE!”

*he nodded and hesitantly ran away*

*Lukas followed closely*

*as soon as they got there, a old looking police man ran up to them*
