Wow. I'm almost speechless. This has to be one of the most fantastic uses of colour to date by this artist. Again, as seen in many of her other works, even an abstract background is no excuse for lesser work. The range of motion and perspective of the - are those bubbles? - coming from the wand is so subtle, yet so finely done. The way they appear at first in a small cluster and then distance themselves gradually is remarkable, and it would be so amazing to imagine this background being animated as part of possibly a cartoon theme song or magical montage. I love this.
