Don't get me wrong. Some of these are great games (Vampire Survivors is one of my all-time favorite games), but is that IT? This guy treats his Steam Deck like it's a GameBoy. None of the titles on the list even come close to what the Steam Deck is capable of, and it does a great disservice to the Steam Deck's reputation. People will read this article and say "That's it? That's no different from a Switch."
It's almost like he only used the device in Game Mode and only played the games that Valve said were Steam Deck verified. There is SO MUCH you could do with this beyond the green check mark.
As for my own experience, I am able to play Battlefield 1, Halo MCC, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, COD: World at War, and Far Cry 2 ALL at 60fps. None of these games are verified for the Deck, in fact WaW is listed as unsupported, yet it works great. I was also able to play Horizon Zero Dawn at 40fps, and the Dead Space remake at 30. THAT is the scope of what the Steam Deck can do. Big games that can work on a device in the PALM OF YOUR HAND. And I haven't even gotten into all the emulation I've been doing on it.
