The whole point of a lawyer is to represent the defendant. Besides, this being "double jeopardy" from when they first tried Trump and Stormy Daniels about this very same thing. The case shouldn't have even made it this far, because there is no crime or statute violation or sufficient evidence to indicate a crime has occurred in the first place.
