Basically what happened

For me, it was a polite declination. I asked three of my friends (call me desperate if you want, I don't care anymore). The answer was always the same: they were worried that if something bad happened and we had to break up, we wouldn't be able to friends anymore. Honestly, I'm not even mad about that - it's sound logic.

But fr she literally just said she had a crush on me, there was no "can we be together" thing it was literally just that.

Nice. I'm glad you guys have such a good friendship that this did not really phase either of you.
