Both sides of my dads family owns farms. I spent a lot of time learning how to cook as well as fabricate as a child. My parents told me I have 2 jobs as a child. Have fun and educate myself. They made sure I was serious about both and put me in places where I could learn a large number of skills from a wide number and types of people.

That's good and sounds like a lot of fun. I was indoctrinated to be an executive before I was a teenager.

I managed a check processing facility for First National Bank for about 18 months. But I took a huge pay cut. So I went back to working on the road. Sitting in an AC office wasn't worth cutting my take home in half.

So what do you do?

Well I was a traveling pipefitter in refineries,reactors, ports, the bars in Las Vegas for years. Then I started getting old and tired of hanging 100' in the air. So I went back home and took a plant welding gig to be around family and maybe find a woman to keep around more than 3 months at a time. And the stuck me on a welding robot cuz as they said "You can read, you can write, and you have all your teeth." Which was totally outside my experience. Then I got moved into robot maintenance. Then I got poached by a small weld company and started making good money with their robots. Mom and dad got sick right before the pandemic. So I was working 12 hours a day, changing wound vac's and repacking wounds, mom had 2 brain surgeries and 3 amputations. So I quit to take care of them. I just recently took a gig at a plant down the street here a bit making retarded money getting their robots back up and running. Because they were purchased by a guy that made a lot of money in the food storage industry and didn't understand why they were "wasting so much time cleaning , its not food" So after I think 6 years of no real maintenance..... ( I sold my place and dumped every dime of it in crypto at the bottom of crypto winter) So now I am about to quit (I got them back up and running and am going in this week 3 times a day to make sure everyone understands the new cleaning and start up check protocols) Sell all my crap and head out on a bus or a plane and check out some places down south with woods, hills, and cricks' ..set myself up a little place and do a little bit of road work here and there!

I am pretty much this guy, with a deep deep voice (William Golden From the Oak Ridge boys deep) only more respectful! I do not deny the existence of female memers. Just like I do not deny the existence of modern traditional classy women that dress like women. How every they are increasingly rare!

I swear to god! We are on the same schedule 1/2 the time! Is it me, or do the points system not add up with your likes half the time. I got a hair up my butt the other day and counted how many likes I got in the past 24 hours. (yeah, working splits like this gives me too much free time. Anyway) I had 91 likes. At 40 points each, that should have been 3,640. Not counting comments, memes made, comment likes.... But my point count had only gone up like 2,800 points. LOL! I was on this site making memes for almost 4 years before I opened an account! I used them in conversations mostly, stuff no one would get because it was just a reply to a comment! Then I realized I was making the same meme over and over for replies so I made an account. I was probably another 18 months before I figured out you could submit them! I really do not pay too much attention to this site! or its features! I have learned more in the past 2 weeks about it than I have in the past 2 years!

It just goes to show you never stop learning. And that life is always an adventure.
