Nancy Pelosi is one of the biggest offenders. She will claim that she does not engage in stock purchases but her husband does.

The more well known Republicans who have gotten rich from this are Dan Crenshaw and Margorie Taylor Greene.

Former Republican Representative, George Santos, who was expelled from Congress for fraud, said he kept trying to get legislation passed to stop this.

Representative Matt Gaetz, is constantly working on legislation to stop this but he keeps getting shut down. He said there are a handful of Democrats who want this practice to end. Shockingly AOC is one of them.

Obama signed legislation to allow the public to know how much congressmen and women are getting from insider trading. That legislation did not go far enough because the majority of the people just don't care and the news media will only report it if it is a Republican who got in trouble for something else (like George Santos).

THINK ABOUT THIS NEXT TIME CONGRESS PROPOSES YET ANOTHER TAX INCREASE. When the tell you the tax increase is only for the rich, ask them how much they have profited from insider trading. Because if they have gotten rich from illegal insider trading then you know that no tax increase is only for the rich, it is for everyone, except for them.

Democrats: Your guy in Congress does NOT care about you. He or she is not full of compassion, inclusiveness, diversity and all of that other feel good stuff you care so passionately about. They are in it to get rich. The longer they are in office the more likelihood that they are corrupt.

My jaw hit the floor when I found out that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was NOT one of the ones who is doing this and is opposed to this. However, when she was contacted about this she decline to comment.
