taking pictures doesn't harm your phone, or your eyes (as long as you're not looking directly at it)

It does harm your phone's lenses if it were to be directed at the sun for long periods of time, just like our eyes

I looked directly at the eclipse yesterday.
I can still see just like I did ere to the event, I do not feel any pain or itchiness either.
The reason how I did this feat was because it was overcast (very cloudy) outside the whole day, and it was snowing a bit, too. It was more of a reminder of wintertime than a solar eclipse tbh...

the sun in general does it anyways.

the only reasion why it may look like more is because the sky is darker causng a greater contrast
