I learned something that kind of upset me. The wall that Trump started is not directly on the border. There is enough U.S. soil between the border and the wall for illegal immigrants to cross the border and claim asylum. We either need to change our asylum policy or we need to give that narrow strip of land to Mexico so that the wall will be right on the border.

No need to change our asylum policy. Just enforce the laws as written. For example asylum can only be claimed in a neighboring country. Mexico is our neighbor and is no oppressive. Those claiming asylum aren’t from Mexico.

Walls are easily defeated by going under with a tunnel, over with a ladder or through with explosives the drug cartels will not hesitate to use any of these options

Still better than what we have now.

I've always been concerned about that. I've always thought that enforcing our immigration laws and imposing heavy fines on anyone who hires an illegal immigrant is what we need to do.

However, Biden has gone and end run around that by offering welfare, housing and Medicaid to all illegals. They don't have to work, they just come here and live for free while we foot the bill. That issue alone is why Biden needs to be run out of office on a rail. But that is only the tip of the iceberg of all of the Anti-American things he is doing.

UN policies state that members of the UN need to allow asylum seekers to apply for status and refugee to apply for refugee status. So the border is the UNs fault. :)
