No, we certainly won't allow ourselves to become animalistic. Although you are absolutely right that the human, as a species, is per definition, but that also means we are a separate species from wolves. Other than us being a mammalian species with common organs, there is a lot that makes us differ from basically all lupine creatures. Did you ever hear about or see a corgi howl at the moon? By the way, "there is no scientific evidence that wolves howl more under a full moon than when the moon is in any other phase." (Source: www.treehugger.com). Nothing is gained when howling at the moon. Humans do not howl at the moon, except for very few exceptions, one of them apparently being you. Lastly, while you, again, are correct about us not being domesticated: We aren't, because we are the ones domesticating.
It's up to you if you want to howl at the moon. I have no problem with that. If it, as you said in another comment of yours, made you feel amazing, I don't doubt that. I have a problem with you telling (subjectively) weird things on the internet while justifying them with disproven myths. And it's certainly not "amazing" for me.
