Ove: *goes back to cuddling with Astra, when suddenly Omeletta walks in*

Astra: oh hi omi

*Ove blushes and tries to hide it by burying his face in Astras chest/neck*

Omi: oh, hey Astra.

Astra: I'm just comforting ove after the... incident. Also me and data made him a little device that'll help him see once his eye has healed

It feels... weird. But it's felt weird ever since the incident, so normal, I guess.

Astra: me and data made you a gift, hopefully it'll help you see better out of your other eye once it's fully healed.

*She hands ove a small green box with a blue ribbon*

Ove: ooooh!

*Ove sits up and opens up the box*

*it's a small lense-like device*

Astra: once you've got that bandaid off, this'll be able to attach to your face and make your vision out of that eye as good as your other one. We also added a couple other things like an infrared sensor

*he reaches up to her shoulders and pulls her down on top of him as he gives her a kiss*

*Astra pats ove on the head*

Ove: I wanted to say...
I'm sorry your, uh... "plans" didn't work out...
*he blushes, even underneath the bandage*

Astra: it's ok. We could date here if you want, although it's not exactly gonna be as fancy

Ove: m-maybe... *he moves to the side and pats the other half of his hospital bed, as for her to lie down next to him*

*Astra pauses for a moment, then lies down*

Astra: ... Y'know, even though it sucks that you got stabbed in the eye with a lightning dagger, it's pretty nice not having to deal with essy and data's pranks for once and just talk with you.
