Bro didn't die for our sins, he died for like 2 days then revived. I really don't get why Christians label that as how great Jesus is lol

He did die for our sins, and then to show his power over death, he rose.

Less to assert power than to show to us that we too can conquer death and sin through him. His resurrection is him providing us hope in a new life.

And yeah I get what you mean by he didn't actually die if he would just rise again, and that does have a point to it, but the main thing was that he suffered and INSANE amount for our sins. Being scourged, beaten, forced to carry a heavy wooden beam upon which he would later hang for hours by nails through his wrists etc.

Ok that makes more sense. But to make a counter point he knew he was going to be fine in the end sure he was physically tortured but mentally he was fine, there are people in the world that suffer mental and physical abuse for years with zero hope. Some of those people are Christans and god just lets that slide, a god that is supposed to love everyone! Sorry for going on a rant but this issue is upsetting for me.

Yeah no thank you! I am glad we can have a human discussion with the reason we humans have. And yes the things we here on earth experience are horrible, but God permits it, that can be hard for a lot of people to think about (Me included) but again, the resurrection promises us hope in the new life. But when we think about our sins and the fallen state of humanity, it makes a little more sense. There could be other reasons also, like it could be a test of our faith (Like Job in the Old Testament) or-if a loved one dies suddenly for example- that could be him providing them a reward in heaven quickly.

Thing is I think we should respect everyone no matter their religon because everyone deserves kindness
