Hmmm. Should I buy a van that's *better for the planet, or a van that's better at hauling stuff?

*Based on consensus, not science.

We would then have to go back to the 1970s when that one inventor came up with the car that ran off of just plain water. Look up that car. It was a cockamami idea back in the day but it does have valuation today

His name was Stanley Meyer.

He died in 1998 at a restaurant while he and his brother were meeting with two potential Belgian investors.

His brother said his last words were, "they poisoned me".

His death certificate stated an aneurysm as the cause of death.

A conspiracy theory was born.

The only problem was the water equivalent for fuel had been used with hydrogen through a certain type of mixture and with that had to be like a small nuclear reactor and or

My father told me one time he said this

" The idea was a great invention. The only problem was the hydrogen was just at a chemical stabilization that if one false wrong goes bad the car will explode and you wouldn't be around " !

But yes, Stanley and Meyer was the original idea for the hydrogen water fuel engine back in the '70s but was shot down because of they knew the importance of how far you can go on water

He was sued over a design or some patent issue by another inventor.

Supposedly his invention would work except a design flaw having something to do with oxygen recovery was "impossible".

I don't know ... He's dead now.

Yeah the oxygen recovery because the O2 has to be reclaimed in order to make water. That was the design flaw that he failed to discover and disclose upon design
