A month after the Golden Deceiver was killed, Andromeda’s rebuilding efforts were being funded by the U.M.P., and Kenshin walked out of the royal castle door. Kenshin saw plenty of people rallying around with plenty of signs against the cultists of the Golden Deceiver.
“What’s going on?” Kenshin said
A peasant looked at Kenshin with their anti-cultism sign in hand.
“We hate the cultists that led this monster to destroy our homes!” The peasant said
“I’m hunting those bastards” Kenshin said
“WE HATE GOLDEN CULTISTS!” The crowd yelled
The peasants, middle class, rich, and even royals were parading around Andromeda with Anti-cultism signs. Kenshin saw a camp 100 feet away from the paraders feeding and caring for the wounded, and Kenshin smiled.
“We can rebuild this country” Kenshin said to himself
As time went by, the people of Andromeda had started to recover from the damage caused by the Deceiver. The next day, a church bell rang, and the Inkmatas family were all at the royal Andromedish cemetery. Flowers were on Amber and Kinyani’s graves, and their weapons were next to them.
“The bravery these two had displayed during their lifetimes were remarkable, and during times of crisis, they were the ones who stood up against the darkness of evil and did everything they could… even if it meant sacrificing themselves.” Pre-Inkla said at the stand, “They brought great honor to the family and will never be forgotten.”
Inkmatas, Peyton, and Cataclysma cried hard. Xander and Kenshin had saluted them both, and Rea, Adult Ruby, and Mirai had placed the flowers on their graves.
“I loved you more than just a sister, Amber” Peyton cried
“I loved you more than anything, Mom” Inkmatas said
“Thank you for everything, Kin” Xander cried
“Thank you, stepmom” Kenshin said
“I’m glad you were my stepmom” Cataclysma said
That night, Inkmatas, in her PJs, walked to Xander, who was still at Kinyani’s grave.
“Hello, Inkmatas” Xander said
“Dad… mom wanted me to tell you this, but she always loved you and wanted you to have this” Inkmatas said as she handed Kinyani’s journal to Xander
“Thank you, Inkmatas; now, why don’t you go back to bed?” Xander said
“Okay, Dad” Inkmatas yawned
Xander opened the Journal and saw a note from Kinyani on the first page.
“Love you, babe” The note read
