If someone comes from a poor country or countries where video games are not worth the price, emulation is morally ok.

Emulation is always morally correct, like pirating old shows that aren't available anywhere and old video games Nintendo will make you pay 60$ for a crappy port to Switch

I understand Nintendo wanting to prevent piracy, but shutting down Emulators because they can be used to play pirated games is like destroying a car because you can use it for drive by shootings.

The reason Nintendo even considers shutting down emulators is because they eventually charge money to use the emulators
