You would have to check into that on your own. "Texas oil business in the 80's" Many articles came up. 🤔

Oil production embargo by OPEC, and banks calling in loans do seem to be the combination that caused it. But Texas was recovering fine until the pandemic and Joe Biden's policies on energy.

It was crippled for several decades. What we could ALL accomplish without our wonderful Big Brother's help
