how could the big bang have created everything? how come if evolution was real why is there not only one species?

Why theres more then one species is because they compete with eachother in biology and would not look all the same because thats scientifically impossible as well.

For example if a human were to evolve into something like a fish, they would need gills which they cannot due to them being mammals so they will end up more like deformed dolphins instead
