Well, son, it all began with a giant luxury ocean liner, the RMS Titanic, operated by the British White Star Line. There were so many passengers. The newspapers all said it was unsinkable. This was it's maiden voyage. It started it's voyage in Southampton, England, made a stop in Marseilles, France, everyone in this scene was in Queenstown, Ireland. It would make it's last stop in New York. There were first class rooms, second class rooms, and third class rooms. The first class rooms were the best, costing the most. But on the fourth night, the RMS Titanic rammed an iceberg. The engines stopped. The iceberg got under the ship and scraped the bow. The third class decks began to flood. Later, everyone was pushing their way through the crowds, to get to the lifeboats. But there weren't enough lifeboats. The great ship started tipping. It was sinking. Only first class passengers could get on certain lifeboats. Only about 700 people escaped. But another ship came by, and rescued the lifeboats. The Carpathia.
