I’m not sure how he could have read the manifesto given it’s against fbi practice to allow showing of the manifestos of mass shooters so he’d have to heard it second hand.

And as far as I’m aware the uvalde shooter never identified as trans nor cross dressed.

The right have just been desperate to deflect any and all shooters as non right leaning since majority of mass shooters have far right wing views. (With notable exceptions that the right never shuts up about such as the Bernie supporter.)
