of course that's a more optimistic scenario, but eh i've already got one that's pessimistic with a mild chance of a better future (basically taking current trends and extrapolating/advancing them ~200 years into the future; essentially it's a parody of Idiocracy) and a mix of very optimistic and very pessimistic (some sentient black hole thing finds humans and decides to help them and gives them super OP tech that's basically ripped straight from a hacked sandbox game, and it also solves most problems, but at the same time it starts worrying and panicking and gets increasingly jaded knowing that humans are simply stupid despite making sure to help everything without making it "perfect" and thus boring (and it couldn't even prevent WW3 from breaking out because SOME RAGING IDIOT IN THE MILITARY "ACCIDENTALLY" MADE IT CAUSE THE WAR))
