In europe, (european) football (or soccer) is the best sport because it's very popular here. There is a world cup with a lot of countries from all around the world (but I don't think that we see USA in it)and very popular videogames with football (soccer) in it.
In USA ,(american) football is the best sport because just look at the popularity of the superbowl...
