Yes, and I began pointing it out in political forums around 2008. Naturally the liberals of the day told me that I was hallucinating. But the roots of what the political Left is today, was clearly evident to thinking people even back then.
Jew hatred was growing openly acceptable just as long as it was heavily disguised by trash-talking about the Israeli government as a substitute. "It's not Jews we hate. It's the Israeli government," proclaimed liberals; which was, of course, protecting all . . . those . . . Jews.
