Incorrect.

It is directly tied to inventory and consumer spending.

And who can have a direct control of their inventory? Like dumping millions of gallons of milk to artificially keep prices high?

Or culling chickens to create a shortage of eggs and blaming it on a bird flu that the industry wasn’t facing at the time but blamed it on it anyway?

Now you are talking about farming and not manufacturing.

Subsidies place restrictions on food commodities in order to maintain a market price.

That comes from the US government which dear leader Biden controls at present.

People starving all over the world...including America, and the government requires farmers to destroy tons of crops and animal products to manipulate the price...no wonder Nancy is extremely wealthy.

💰😄Nancy: we need to tax the 1%...she is part of that club.

That's called pandering.

See the relation in supply and inflation?

And then you buy the higher priced scarce item which fuels inflation.

You demand higher wages to keep up with inflation which creates higher prices to cover increased labor costs.

And due to your raise buy the even higher priced goods, now of reduced quantity due to scarcity, and add more fuel to the fire.

If you are against corporations profiting from sales, stop giving them sales.

What kind of socialist does not desire an austere and bland lifestyle?

What? How on earth do subsidies demand a for profit company dump milk to keep their prices up that makes zero sense.

And the CPI has exceeded inflation by over double since Covid happened under Trump and continues to rise despite inflation being at about 3.2 percent currently.

What?

More histrionics?

Do your own research.

What you afraid you’ll debunk yourself with your own source like last time?

Also in this case there is no subsidy regulation that demands the dumping of milk to maintain a specific price. And the milk dumping occurred…

Under Trump. Who I want to be clear…I don’t blame that on him because corporate greed is corporate greed.

Your first statement is the lie you tell yourself.

You offered zero conflicting opinion from respected, unbiased sources.

If Trump is not culpable, why mention his name?

Freudian slip? Always in your thoughts?

You say the milk subsidy did not demand milk dumping.

Your understanding is naive.

The subsidies, in conjunction with dairy cooperatives ensure producers a minimum payment for the production (gathering) of ALL of the milk they gather regardless of it being processed or not.

You get a bucket full, you're getting paid for it even if you kick the bucket and turns over.

The government ensures the farmer never has to cry over spilled milk

Overproduction, which had processing plants maxed out, and lack of long term storage for raw milk had dairy farmers in a tight spot.

You can't quit milking but you have no place to keep the milk and your local processor cannot accept any more product.

The farmer has two choices:

1. Go to the extra expense of shipping raw milk to a processor far away resulting in a net loss.

2. Since you got already paid the minimum rate by the cooperative/subsidy programs which allowed you to make a profit on your production, just dump the milk so you can keep your money.

The farmers chose to take the profit.

The subsidy did not "require" the dumping, it incentivized the dumping.

Regulations prohibit direct to consumer sales of raw milk.

That dumping of milk created a slump in supply increasing the consumer price.

The closing of schools added to the glut of milk and dairy products during the "pandemic".

Stop replying with "nu uh" and derisive histrionics.

Correct I didn’t offer the conflicting opinion…
YOU DID. Your third source was criticizing your seconds poor methodology.

I mention him because milk dumping occurred during the pandemic, I also mention him because NEITHER President is culpable.

You are pointing out a milk dump from 2023 I’m pointing one out from 2020
during the pandemic.

Thank you for going on a condescending rant that proves my point at no point did the state mandate the dumping of the milk the corporations chose to do so to maintain a higher price despite receiving subsidies creating an artificial shortage.

What sounds to me like then they either don’t need the subsidies or we need to mandate every gallon that’s farmed gets sent to processing to curb milking the subsidies and that’s assuming it works as you state…which I’m doubtful it does given how quick you are to cite a source who directly contradicts and disagrees with you. Oh and you are citing a dish 24 hour media network…you know that thing that conservatives claim is brainwashing everyone.
