Original Hebrew: You shall not murder.
Greek to KJV: Thou shall not kill.
Big difference.

Not really. KJV was written on a 500 yr old language and only used when reading a KJV trasnlated Bible. It has a large number of translation errors. If you read the Bible, God had cities of refuge for people who killed to protect from the avenger. Killing is not the same as murder. Killing to defend your nation from the enemy, there is nothing against it. Look up Jehu, the 10th king of Israel, laying down God's judgment. Murder requires intention and malice, which God detests and is agaist. Proper translation is murder.

Therefore God detests killing innocent civilians, most especially when half are children. If not, then you're making an excellent case for Hitler and atheism. :)
