Day 77: Goku and Frieza (Dragon Ball) (Thank you, Toriyama)

This is a good one, but I prefer Yuji and Mahito.

But see, it's not as iconic.

It didn’t ask most iconic rivalry, it asked for your favorite. I believe Yuji and Mahito is better written than Goku and Frieza. And if we are talking about most iconic, then the answer is Naruto and Sasuke. Goku and Frieza are more antagonistic rivals, but when a rival comes to mind something like Naruto and Sasuke is going to come to mind first.

Let me just get this out of the way, Goku is only 7 inches taller than Frieza, but how come Toriyama just had Goku bend over just to look at him like he's a whole two feet taller? (No disrespect to the late, Akira Toriyama or his impressive artstyle)
