Is it easier for honest people to see through lies?

Mostly progressives/liberals/leftists do not see through the lies that their leadership, elites, and media outlets present to them because of decades worth of non-stop political and ideological indoctrination during public schooling and college that, in turn, is reinforced by the entertainment industry.

You're right, of course. I'm looking deeper. Are people deceived according to how much deception they themselves allow and/or put out in their personal lives? That don't believe honesty is the best policy?

You have to break it down into percentages. A certain percent does precisely what you set forth. Some are simply so indoctrinated that they do not perceive lies at all from their ideological camp. Some are stupid, and some are deliberately duplicitous.
