Data: well if it was sending the memories somewhere instead of just deleting them I could get them back, but it'd take quite a bit of effort to figure out where the bug came from since I killed it.

Data: it was the heat of the moment and I didn't know how much damage it'd done

Data: ... Well, I'm gonna go stare at this bug corpse for a few hours and see if I can find where it came from
