LaLa: The simple answer is, it's part of V's character arc.

Respond to LaLa note: I'm guessing it's due to her character arc. By the end of Dead End, she's
sadistic than she was before, and actually became a "good guy," even if only for a few brief moments, going as far as to sacrifice herself (supposedly, though I secretly hope she survived) to allow N and Uzi to enter the Cabin Fever labs. Despite her (most likely still) chaotic and sadistic nature seen in Dead End, she's more Chaotic Neutral because of which side she's playing on and her ultimate sacrifice at the end.
