I have never heard of Kong '76 being shown in North Korea...but here's a fun little fact.
This was one of the first movies to utilize merchandise to advertise the movie-there were McDonalds Happy Meals, shaker cups, etc.
But two of my personal favorites are "King Kong peanut butter cups" which literally were just regular peanut butter cups with Kong on the front, and a literal cocktail recipe that came with a martini glass (I think)
