Nice work. I was a huge animé nerd as a kid and still occasionally dabble into newer series. This perfectly captures the essence of that style, which is supposed to be one of the most complex "cartoon" styles to perfect. I'm loving the cherry blossom plant and her kindly demeanor. The simple shading and colour blocking is intentional because, for those in the know, much animé is, indeed, drawn this way, so it is clear that this artist must be quite the connoisseur. This picture makes me wish I could step into the fictional restaurant and have my order taken by this perky young woman.
