Firefly was canceled due to lack of ratings AKA insufficient viewers.
I didn't even watch it back then, and I've watched just about every sci-fi show on TV. Outer space truckers? Pass.
Shame, watching it now via reruns, turns out to a good show. I did that after catching the movie, Serenity.
Reavers were created by the pax gas, used by a totalitarian government to control the masses via pacification, not a virus created in the lab TWO DECADES before COVID-19.
