whats her breathing teqnique

She uses her own breathing style ice breathing, she knows how to do all forms of water breathing (which is were ice breathing came from). She was able to prefect her own breathing style under sanemi as a tsuguko.

question did she make it out of the blue or did she learn a breathing style and altered it to her liking

basically what happened was she was going to go into final selection being proficient in water breathing but a few days before the test, she got news that Kanae died and she felt she wasn't strong enough so she went to train under Sanemi and thus ice breathing. so it is a branch off of water breathing.

Okay backstory: She born an only child into a loving family and at the time daki was lower moon 2 so OnE nIgHt daki killed and ate both of her parents but sparing the child. She then continued by living on the streets with the help of some family friends. A few years later she is (still) on the streets when a old creepy man started to be very touchy with her, SHe struggled for a bit, trying to get out of his grasp. Before the man did anything, Kanae and Sanemi (they were patrolling in the area) came and saved her, taking her under there wing. They took her (btw her name is Hana) to the masters mansion for advice on what to do with her and he told them to take her to the former water pillar and train to be a water demon slayer. As she trained with him for a while until she was very good at water breathing. (Kanae and Sanemi both would visit her while she trained, becoming very close. Sanemi and Kanae viewed her as a younger sibling) Hana was finally ready to go into final selection. A few days before final selection she got word(from Sanemi) that Kanae had been killed by upper moon 2. This sent Hana into a spiral of emotions and claimed that she wasn't strong enough to face someone like that. She planned to go off by herself and create a breathing style but Sanemi convinced her to be his tsuguko. He said he would guide her while she made her own breathing style. (after making Ice breathing) she joined the same final selection as Tanjiro and passed easily, she got an albino crow and picked her ore for her sword. (she named the crow yuki). She got two dual blades that are shaped for her style. Both the blades are deep blue.

Okay now her breathing style: So her breathing style is very different from other breathing styles because it works better when her body is below the normal temperature (colder means more effective moves) She was born with a gift that made it so she could withstand VERY low temperatures. Now the names of the moves-
First form-Piercing Icesicle
Second Form-Hypothermia
Third form- Freezing Rain
Fourth Form-technique development (this move is just something that lowers her body temp)
Fifth Form-Freezing fog
Sixth Form-Frostbite
Seveth Form-Avalanche
Eighth Form- Glacier
So when she gets her demonslayer mark, her swords go from a deep blue to a light blue. unlike the others sword who turn red.

normally I'd say I'm not gonna read all that but I did and I loved the story and the moves sound cool did you drawn them cuz I kinda wanna see

this is the first design I ever made for her, with her sword and hoari. I'm working on the move drawings (p.s they won't be very detailed but I'll make sure it shows what or how the move looks)

oh I haven't...BUT I SHOULD! Also, thank you so much for saying that! It really means a lot to me that someone takes interest in this character I made and spent a lot of time on. If you would like I could give you her back story for the Academy AU or just fun facts about her :)

oh okay! hmm well her whole name is Hana Hyoga. She's 158cm(5'2), born 12/28 so she's a capricorn. She has light brown hair with hints of blue and white. She has soft blue eyes.

no your not annoying I could be explaining my character I'd like to know anything you want me to know because its just such a cool character with a great story and I normally have the attention span of a squeral and I read it all

I always take interest in things I like demon slayer is my favorite anime so seeing this peaked my interested if you have any more characters I'm always here cuz I have nothing better to do

oh I could give you her opinions of the Hashira.
Giyuu- I find him to be very strong person. I would like to ask him for a few pointers, but Sanemi doesn't like him.
Shinobu-I see her as my older sister,we both bond over a love of chemistry. She is very hard-working.
Rengoku-he has amazing swordsmanship,but his personality can be a bit much.
Tengen-He is very annoying and loud, and I won't forgive him for violating Aoi.
Gyomei-I find him to be a bit peaceful to be around, we don't talk much though.
Sanemi-Though he can be rude,he's one of the sweetest people I know. He took me under his wing and I'll forever be grateful for that.
Tokito-Somethings a little off about him, but he impresses me.
Mitsuri-I find her cute and nice. She is strong and often rants about love to me.
Obanai- He's nice to me, probably because I'm close with Sanemi. I'm pretty sure he has a crush on Mitsuri.

Likes: cold somen noodles,traditional sweets, chemisty (she will sometimes use it as a weapon like shinobu), Aoi, Kanao, Sanemi, Shinobu, and Kanae, baking and cooking, butterflies, blue and white flowers, Genya (she secretly has a crush on genya but was never alwayed to talk to him during final selection or after that.
Dislikes: Zentisu,Tengen, anything orange, older men, warm-weather (because she isn't as strong), demons, Green tea, hot food (temp)
