Believe it or not, having romantic relationships with an animal is illegal no matter what gender it is. (And no, Catra is not an animal, she is either a Magicat or a different humanoid cat species)

I would agree if ML Ponies were animals, yet they actually aren't. They are beings from another dimension, so they have a different body type. (That's canon.) The fact that they look animalistic to beings from our dimension is not their problem. Whatever they look like these are the facts:
1. They are the sentient beings of their world.
2. They are capable of consent.
3. They pass the Harkness test.
