Your assumption is that undocumented workers don't want to work, and are a drag on the economy. This isn't typically the case. How much per pound do you want to pay for Georgia Peaches, or Lettuce and Strawberries from California, or Orange Juice from Florida... Because typically that's where a large number of the migrants from Central America wind up working. When they cracked down in Georgia, during the Trump Administration - it resulted in orchards full of peaches going unharvested, and rotting where they fell.
In Order to work, since Reagan's time, they've been forced to produce a social security number - typically from someone who died already. As a result, they pay into the system, artificially buoying the Social Security System, because they don't want to get caught and deported, for trying to collect on the benefits that they paid for.
I'm sure that the current situation under Biden has a bunch of abuses occuring, as part of some globalist plot - but the folks who were fleeing Central America during Obama and Trump's time (ie the "migrant caravans") - were often composed of legit Asylum Seekers - fleeing the direct results of f-ed up US foreign policies - like the 2009 Coup in Honduras against Zelaya, (and the US trained/armed DEATH SQUADS, who were keeping the Narco-Dictatorship there, in place). Colin Powell's "Pottery Barn Rule" applies, inany if these cases.
